Apostille of a Slovak passport / ID card
The apostille of a passport or ID card is issued on its notarized copy.

Delivery time: 3–4 weeks. The processing time cannot be expedited as personal documents are additionally verified by the police.
First, it is necessary to make a notarized photocopy of the passport or ID card. We can provide an apostille only for Slovak identity documents. If you are abroad, you can have the passport copy certified at a Slovak consulate in the respective country. It is not possible to apostille identity documents if they are certified by a foreign notary.
For this process, we require a power of attorney from the client. Contact us, and we will prepare and send the document for signature. The signature on this power of attorney does not need to be notarized.
You will deliver the notarized copy of the passport or ID card to our law office, inform us about the country where you intend to use it, and we will arrange the apostille.
Often, presenting an apostilled passport is required by business partners when concluding deals abroad.
